Introduction

This site contains classified ad listings grouped into predefined categories. Anyone can view the advertisment information but only registered users are allowed to place new ad listings. Registration is free to all! When you register an email message will be sent to the address you enter. When you receive the message you will need to go to the coded web address included in the message by clicking on the link. AOL email does not display links in email correctly so AOL users will need to copy the complete http://... code into the browser or search box.

Browsing

Navigation is performed by clicking on a category name displayed which results in the chosen category being selected for viewing. The display will now show the current category path as a set of quick links for easy navigation as well as links to any categories it contains. Directly underneath this, all ad listings for the chosen category will be displayed (in summary form) and they may be viewed by clicking on the ad title.

Searching

Clicking on the SEARCH link at the top of the page displays a simple search form. This allows the entry of words or phrases that apply to the ad listings you are looking for. If the search returns too many results, try being more specific by entering more words - alternatively, if it returns too few results (or none), try entering fewer words to make the search less specific.

Placing ad listings

NOTE: Only registered users are allowed to place ad listings on this site

When placing ad listings, first log in, then click on the ADD A LISTING menu item in the left column. Then select a category from the drop-down list. Next fill in the data entry form and, and once that has been completed, click on the SUBMIT button to store your ad listing in the database. The information entered will be immediately available for viewing on the site subject to receipt of a valid payment.

TIP: When entering a dollar amount in the PRICE, do not include a comma.

TIP: When uploading a picture make sure that the file SIZE is 99k (99000 bytes) or less.

Changing Your Listings and Account Settings - "My Account"

All registered and logged in users have access to their own account management page where they can view a list of all the ad listings they have placed ("View My Ads"), select listings for editing or photo changes, update their account profile ("Update Your Profile" - e.g. email, address, phone, etc) or change their password.

Ad Listing Does Not Appear

If your ad listing does not appear it may be that your payment has not been received or processed (check or e-check). If your ad listing is shown but cannot be displayed it may be that the data was lost due to going back and forward in the ad placement process. Credit for lost ads can be applied to a replacement listing on request. Always be sure to wait until your ad listing has been posted before making changes.
